Visiting the internets
Question
Dear Director, Webmaster Online Internet Management Specialist Communications Analyst Technician of Information Technologies,
Someone told me that there’s this thing called internets where I can visit a web world and telecommunicate technologically with other technologies? Can you give me directions to this interweb? How long a drive is it from Boston?
Sincerely,
Confused in Boston
Answer
Dear Confused in Boston,
The person who told you that there is a thing called internets where you can visit a web world and telecommunicate technologically with other technologies is quite correct. In fact, President George W. Bush mentioned the internets in the debate with Senator John Kerry that occurred last Friday. President Bush cited the rumor, circulating on the internets, that he had plans to reinstitute the draft.
This is just one of the many inter-online communication message web-threads that has circulated the internets in recent weeks. Others include the supposed existence of a google, and speculation that Coca-Cola has been contaminated by non-interweb-world wide terrorists.
Regrettably, at this time it is not possible to visit the online internets by car, or by driving in any other vehicle. It is, however, possible to “surf” the internets, though only when using specially made “web-surfing” equipment.
On behalf of the World Wide Online Internet Website Community, I hope that you continue to explore the many technological facets of the internets, and that you find such explorations fruitful and enlightening.
Please feel free to contact me if I can be of further assistance.
Sincerely,
Jesse Pearlman Karlsberg
